PASSION. EVOLUTION.
The 2024 edition of Exposanità carried the slogan “We care about those who care,” which encapsulated the commitment to Italian healthcare that has characterized the event for over 40 years. But that’s not all. That phrase also conveys the urgent need to protect those who work in Italian healthcare: its professionals. The same slogan was used for the “We care about the NHS” campaign that Exposanità created for the 45th anniversary of the NHS, in which everyone can participate: healthcare professionals as well as all Italian citizens. Among the activities dedicated to this important milestone in Italian public healthcare, citizens, institutions, healthcare policymakers, companies, and healthcare volunteer associations will be invited to explain, through scripts or videos, why they care about the NHS.
LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
The 2022 edition of Exposanità dedicated conferences,
in-depth discussions, workshops, and special initiatives to all topics of major interest to healthcare professionals, social and healthcare professionals, rehabilitation professionals, technicians, and managers who work in various capacities in the public and private sectors.
The aim is to implement new healthcare policies and seize the extraordinary opportunity that technological innovation offers Italian healthcare, not only in terms of increasingly efficient functionality, but also in terms of accessibility, inclusiveness, and rights.
The 2018 edition featured seven thematic areas focusing on disability, hospitals, prevention, orthopedics, innovations, senior citizens, and first aid. Special initiatives already confirmed include: two fully functional operating rooms equipped with the most innovative equipment on the market, a sterilization center, a cross-section of an intensive care unit, an exhibition dedicated to inclusive bathroom design, and a simulation of an assisted living environment with IoT technologies integrated into everyday objects to support the independence of the elderly. A sports area, open to the public, will host exhibitions by athletes and visitors in Paralympic disciplines. Last but not least, the “Health Center” will offer free screenings for the prevention of melanoma, thyroid nodules, and breast cancer, tests to measure carbon monoxide in the breath, ultrasound examinations for the prevention of vascular risk, and postural assessments.
